Skyrim Bosmer is a Dunmer and the Imperial is a Nord in your comparison. I also think the Breton female is a Nord female. Other than that, it’s fine.

they probably are finishing up what they are gonna look like i ask heard there were gonna be 10 races which means 1 more than last time
There are ten races in Oblivion and in Morrowind. Argonian, Khajiit, Red Guard, Imperial, Nord, Dark Elf, Wood Elf, Orc, High Elf, and Breton.
It was Unlikely to have the high elf from the start as there is a clear dislike between Nords and High Elf’s as they are both a magical race and the Nords also disliked how ‘big headed’ the High Elf’s
They’re going to have all ten reaces… High elf NPCs may not be very common but they won’t take that option away from the players.
(I believe its spelt Argonian) other then that the argonian looks great I’ve never been any other species in the elder scrolls game except for argonian and im gonna keep that up for Skyrim
WOO HOO, I had heard the Argonians wern’t going to be in Skyrim. It is SO awsome to find out they are. Now I’m looking forward to it even more.

wow high elf is gone … i dont like high elfs but they improved the other races so i wanet to see if high elfs were there but there not…:(
K you guys are super dumb. That chick is an imperial. She is not here own separate race. High elves will show up they just haven’t released a picture yet and the 10th race is breton!

high elfs are gone . i was happy BUT they made all the races better so i wanet to see it but its not in skyrim
@wowoz the reason high elfs looked funny is it was made 5 yeares ago.. now its 2011 they can make it better but its not in this game but thats why ………….

They say 10 “confirmed” races but only show 9 in the one pic. The only race not shown is Altmer so it wouldn’t be a surprise that they are the missing race. As for the pic for comparison…In order from left to right..

No.We need the Falmer. The Ice Elves for the unintiated. And we also need to be able to be the Ape people. Look on the USEP wiki. The Ice Warriors were featured in Daggerfall…..but never seen afterwards,not even in Sheogorath’s Shivering Isles. And the Bosmer were Beast. They were the best thief/stealthy/archers ever.
The falmer were either wiped out by the nrds centuries ago or turned into the degenerate reiklings seen on solstheim, the kothringi aren’t even native to skyrim and I’m pretty sure they’re still too primitive to take on the life of an adventurer like the other playable races, much the orcs used to be pre-morrowind. Also bosmer male had better look alot better than in oblivion, gods they looked horrible…
Was hoping for Falmer too. If people don’t get to play as one, they should be able to see one (very rarely though). They bring bad luck, so that should be fun =D

yay Argonians confirmed, so happy! i like to see Argonians have a better face than before more realism and like as “Dragonian” the names is similar i like this.
I would like to play as a mo’ka’po.. not sure if thats right but i read it in a book in oblivion.. there a tribe of monkey people.. it would be fun to play as a giant silverback bodybuilder gorrila with a mighty enchanted war hammer.. and just liquify the shlt out of mammoths and dragons.. and then sell the meat to the nords.. but honestly ill probly be a human & try to make him look like me, seems like they stepped up the detail alot! And if you cook your food its better for you! I love bethesda they get it! every other developer is dumbing things down & its no fun..

Many of you are very moronic. There are all 10 races still. If you have STILL not seen them, look em’ up on google. Theyve released pictures with about 20 diff faces of each race. (ie – 1 picture has 10 male nord and 10 female nord. randomized faces) they posted it of all 10 races. nord, khajiit, bosmer(woodelf), dunmer(darkelf), altmer(highelf), orismer(orc), breton, imperial, redgaurd, and argonian. why would any of you beleive that a race or 2 had been removed? are you retarded? they are all apart of TES lore, you cant just make a race vanish. Bethesda has made the lore very indepth, and very detailed. They stay true to the roots.
i can wait to get my hand on a collectors copy of it i dont care if its 120 sterling im gonna be a nord
Yea the new info & Pics are making me excited.. it seems this game has got it all.. houses, jobs, pets, cooking, werewolves and vampirism, even gay interacial marriage.. and thats just bonuses.. The dragons are done well i hope there hard to kill & i hope the story & quests are better.. If they do it right this game will blow everything out of the water

Whops cut off. Anyway, The Lycanthropes of bloodmoon? Not really a race but as good as your going to get. But the is Elder scrolls the history is thick and i don’t think they will make something like that without altering the history of the game
Man those graphics in skyrim are intense they look so real compared to the last game. In the last game I was a imperial cause I wasn’t sure what to be. But now all the races look so awesome and its gonna be hard to choose one. I like those wood elfs but I might a breton or a nord I don’t know. If there are no high elfs then I don’t mind. I didn’t care for them too much.
Wow! They’re so realistic, infinitely better than the smooth and detail-lacking faces of Oblivion.
